Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why choose a gravel driveway over an asphalt or concrete driveway?

Different driveway materials meet different needs, so not one type is "better" than another.  However, gravel driveways are more forgiving and easier to repair.  Trees, heavy traffic, on/off the sides of the driveways can cause damage to asphalt and concrete driveways, whereas gravel driveways can withstand more shifting and can be easily expanded.

Do we repair concrete or asphalt driveways?

No, we do not repair concrete or asphalt driveways.  We do offer the removal and replacement of concrete or asphalt driveways with gravel.

What is a base layer for my driveway?

Establishing a solid base (with UCL or ABC stone) helps provide a foundation for the driveway to be built and protects it against flooding, erosion and other elemental factors.  This also allows the top layer of rock to have support and not sink into the ground and lasts much longer.
